Unforgettable sightseeing adventures await in the Low Country!
Welcome to Mrs. Susan’s Low Country Non-profit website! We are the giving arm of Mrs. Susan’s Low Country Tours LLC, where 100% of all profits are donated towards helping make the world a better place through charitable acts. This non-profit was established with the mindset to help others the way Mrs. Susan Morgan helped others her entire life.
Mrs. Susan was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, where her parents instilled a deep commitment to service. Her father , William, a World War II veteran of the Pacific theatre and her mother, Kay served as powerful examples of dedication and compassion.
Following in their footsteps, Susan pursued a career at Norfolk General Hospital for 32 years. Alongside her professional achievements, she cherished time with her beloved husband, Ray, and their two sons, Jon and Chris. In her late 30’s, Susan furthered her education, earning a business degree from Old Dominion University, while still working full-time, and raising a family.
Susan’s passion for service extended beyond her career. She dedicated her time as a volunteer fire disaster relief coordinator for the Red Cross and was an active member of her church community. In 1997, she traveled to Africa with her church to aid in the fight against the AIDS epidemic.
Her legacy of compassion and service lives on through her sons. In her honor, Jon founded this nonprofit to continue the spirit of giving that defined his mother’s life.
Mrs. Susan’s Low Country Nonprofit is dedicated to
enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens and
disabled veterans by providing free, accessible day trips
that foster social connection and joy. Through strategic
outreach—most notably our partnership with the Anxiety
and Depression Anonymous Foundation, we also aim to
deliver critical mental health and wellness resources to
individuals facing isolation. Our mission is to provide the
connections between community sponsors, local service
providers, and those we serve, ensuring that support and
engagement reach the most vulnerable members of our
community.
At Mrs. Susan’s Low Country Nonprofit, our long-term vision
is to utilize all donated and charitably raised funds to
provide direct housing assistance to homeless veterans.
Rather than relying on third-party organizations, we are
committed to offering hands-on support and ensuring
that these individuals receive the comprehensive care and
stability they urgently deserve.
Whether through a donation, sponsorship, or partnership, your support will go towards providing essential housing and offering hope to those who served.

Gaby and Tom are consultants to Mrs. Susan’s Low Country Tours. Gaby carefully plans the itinerary for each tour. Tom will be using his drone to take footage of our trips, which will be shared with all tour groups. When they aren’t taking vacations themselves, they live in Charlotte, NC with their three dogs, Buster, Scooter, and Daruk.
For small group tours, we can customize an itinerary to emphasize your interests. If you have a special request, send us a message, and we will be sure to get back to you soon.
